Fall Display from Martha Stewart ideas

I must have been in a party mood, because I hosted a Silpada party and decided to copy a tablescape in Martha Stewart’s magazine this month. Of course, it may not be as beautiful as hers, but I sure liked creating my version and I was brazenly showing it off!! I used lots of pumpkins, gourds, candles, and cabbage heads used as dip holders.
The purple and green cabbage heads held hummus or cheese dips.  As the magazine suggested, I hollowed out areas in the cabbages and then placed small glass containers in the holes to hold the dips. I also took a few of the cabbage leaves, cut off the firm ends and wrapped them around glasses that held pretzels and breadsticks. They were tied with string. Easy, easy decorating and it looks so interesting and colorful. Two photos are in the gallery.
Thanks to those who were nice enough to attend my party and to everyone who made purchases!! I may get the bracelet I was eyeing!!
