Nothing too fancy here, but if I have acrylic paint, a brush and, in this case, leaves for painting, I go for it....they make a nice display. Or, sometimes I leave them at the bottom of a random tree for others to discover.
Paint clear gesso on the back and then over the paint on the front to preserve them. I have some from a year ago that are still in good shape.
These are magnolia leaves, which are very sturdy.
p.s. I also used some acrylic paint markers.
