Party Dress - I doodled the whole journal page then filled in the doodle spaces with color. I took a deep breath and stenciled the dress (Sue Pelletier's Art Dress stencil from Stencil Girl Products) with black gesso so that the details of the dress appeared. Another deep breath before, I completely covered the area around the dress with black gesso. Yes, I covered all of the doodling, but that's ok because the result is so much fun! Lettering and a white sketchy frame finished it off, although I did go back and add some red dots of color to the words (not shown in this image). I used the Stencil Girl Products Tall Birds stencil in the same way, shown in an earlier post.
