I’ve had a sheet of plastic flowers for a few weeks and just got around to playing with them. These plastic beauties are shaped by holding them over a candle (I used a heat gun), then press to shape them however you want. Originally, I had planned to use them on cards but they would be pricey for mailing. Of course, you could hand the 3D card to the recipient or put it inside a gift bag or box. :) I decided to use them on top of altered boxes so I’ve saved two to use at a later date, one is shown here. The other two are now decorating gift bags and I love them! Really cool. I bought the sheet at The Paper Hollow in Troy. There is also YouTube demo of the product(not mine and not in English). I put my examples here in my blog gallery. What do you think? I’ve also been busy finishing my altered bird-themed book and made a box to hold it! I’ll upload the final photos soon. Hmmm.....is an altered book EVER finished? :) |
