Close to My Heart sells a package of triangular chipboard (each is 7”x 6”) that makes an excellent banner to hang for a child’s special occasions so I decided to make one for granddaughter Emmalee. Emmee is 2 on May 1st so this banner is all ready for her. It’s generic so that it can be hung to celebrate an accomplishment, kindergarten graduation, confirmation, etc.
I used diecut letters to spell out her name, using the negative as well as the positive forms of the letters. She has a LOT of the letter E in her name! I also used butterfly embellishments and rhinestones, ribbon - such fun to make. Now I think I need to make these for my grandniece and grandnephew!!
